I read the grandmothers account in twitter yesterday. My jaw was in the floor.

This poor girl - yes girl. The rapist as and abusers were under no illusion of her sexual were they?

She will have a life if trauma to deal with and to be brutally honest, not many make it through.

Each and every *** who chirpily signed away this girl - and her parents - rights deserves jail time.

I am so sad for this kid and her poor mum (grandmother- not sure what happened to her birth mum).

How dare they!!? How very dare they manipulate a child like that, one whose history makes her even more vulnerable than other children, and use her for their own political and social ends. Poor poor kid.

Sometimes I’m ashamed to call myself a human being I just can’t fathom why people are so unbelievably inhuman to others. I hope this child gets the help they need.

Who the hell puts a vulnerable sexually abused child with a female body in a boy’s unit? How on earth can anyone with only a shred of safeguarding knowledge allow this? It doesn’t matter if she had wanted this herself, the responsibility lays with the adults who had a task to keep her safe.

How on earth did they fall into the grip of sex traffickers twice? Were they the same traffickers? How prevalent is this in the States and how do the young people get into the grips of these people? I just cannot comprehend this.

As to the social and judicial systems that have taken the child into care - is the child making accusations against the grandparent or are they simply ‘protecting’ the child from the ‘horror’ of being dead named? Either way, this child has been monumentally let down, abused and exploited.

The abused child may (or may not) have contacted them themselves. People often fail to understand the mental manipulation that must invariably take place before assuming complete control over the individual.

It's something I wish society understood about sexually abused and exploited people more. I get so sick of hearing 'but.... but she/he took all the money and gifts and didn't run etc etc'.

I know that's not what's happening on this thread, but it happens too often in other high profile cases of sex abuse and trafficking.

I see every person who puts their pronouns on their emails as complicit in this. They need to wake up, smell the coffee and stop supporting an ideology which paves the way for this abuse of vulnerable children.

I'm sure our friendly local monitors will be along soon to tell us how awful this is..

I'm just listening to an audio book where Virginia Giuffre is mentioned. She was repeatedly trafficked and abused from the age of 13 in the most dreadful ways, multiple times before the disgusting GE, GM & PA met her in her later teens. The first time she is approached by GM and JE she goes home and says to herself that she doesn't understand how every direction or opportunity she takes has this at the end of it. I think she was 16 at that point. These people know exactly what to look for, they see vulnerability and know to gain access, and also in some cases network with each other to provide victims.

Sweet suffering jeebus. Reading that and the other stories posted makes me want to weep.

I think that the first time, the traffickers probably groomed this child over the internet by respecting the child's gender identity and providing a listening ear. Some of the adults on forums, seemingly there to provide support to kids struggling with their families are there to alienate children from their parents in order to do this.

This has been a phenomenon on the internet since children got internet access, and gender identity theory is a gift to them to exploit. Not only is it a cause of familial disagreement and discord, it even has Amnesty endorsing "people are who they say they are" as a slogan, undermining every internet safety initiative ever. So the child likely ran away the first time, thinking there was a safe harbour ahead.

The second time, it could have been the same traffickers, different traffickers (again, anonymous people providing support over the internet with malign intentions), or traffickers just spotted a distressed child with nowhere to go. Pimps used to patrol train stations, looking for teenagers who had run away or been made homeless by their parents, in order to prostitute them, and it's the same thing, isn't it? The child ran away from an official state home that time, and I would stake money on traffickers/pimps having contacts in the area, who are on the look out for runaways. Children in care are very vulnerable, and they are specifically targeted.

That lot in Maryland have a whole range of serious questions to answer - but horrifyingly, they doubtless can’t/won’t be asked unless things are broken down & built back up again in a sane shape. One that safeguards vulnerable children rather than actively facilitates their being sexually assault, for example.

You know, I'm bumping this thread because I came across this story separately and was aghast.

This is what unthinking acquiescence to gender ideology ultimately leads to.
