Fails to collect data on sex. I have not had a single one in my inbox this year which wanted to know the sex of their participants. Even when the research question is focused on 'gendered perceptions' of some kind. This is farcical, is there any point at all in the social sciences?
The demographic page typically asks something like: 'which gender option best describes you? Male, Female, Prefer to self identify or prefer not to say' which makes no sense... I honestly don't see the point in continuing my studies if this is the nonsense I'm going to have to suck up to get through it
