DC's school just emailed round their updated diversity and inclusion reading list for each year group (it's a new initiative) and there wasn't a single book in there about gender or trans.

I'm surprised at how surprised I am. And how relieved.

Not U at all to be relieved. Can I ask, what WAS on there?

Extremely sensible and appropriate titles covering the topics of step-families, adoption, bereavement, disability, neurodiversity, race and bullying.

Not a T or G word in sight.

That is very surprising. I'm also relieved and it's not even my DC's school😀
