Am watching Have I Got News For You and Sonia Sodha is on and wearing a dinosaur necklace 🦕 (only visible in close ups).

I'm gonna need that necklace I'm having lunch soon with a group of friends I've had for over 30 years. All lecturers or teachers and one of whom tried to cut me out of the group when I said I thought TWATW or men but can't be women and don't belong in women's sport. I haven't seen her for a while it's going to be interesting to see if she doubles down esp as KS was a contentious topic between us. I'm happy to not discuss it but the necklace is a nic silent protest. Interestingly I'm also now happy to lose friendships over this something I found very distressing at first.

I have Dino shirt and a jumper that I wear to work. And my very talented sister told me that she was shopping for fabrics to make some shirts and dresses - and bought some Dino print material for me!!! Very excited - hope it’s a dress…

I think tras on twitter use dinosaur and dragon emoji because they noticed them turning up in gc accounts and women can't have anything of our own,

If you look carefully, JKR features in the opening credits as a statue in the middle of a tug of war.

Also, back in the days before I was really paying attention to all of this, I'm sure I remember HIGNFY featuring a picture of Jess Bradley which caused some mirth, along with a reference to a local Labour party official who was in trouble for saying (as a piss take) that he identified as a woman on Wednesday afternoons and every other Thursday, or something. Does anyone else remember this?

So, I rewatched the opening credits really carefully and yes - there she is....

This is fascinating to me, because they keep well away from this on HIGNFY, the last leg, mock the week..... They don't mention any of it, in any more detail than maybe a quick quip in passing and it is always anti JKR if it is mentioned.

A lot of people tell me they just aren't interested, they just don't care about the issue so I thought, is it because I hang about here and on twitter and we talk about it all the time and really, it's a niche issue?

But no. There it is in the credits. But they won't talk about it.
