Don't miss the opportunity to tell the government what a woman is. Submissions need to be in by April 28!

Received the following information from caWsbar (Canadian Women's Sex-based Rights)

Dear caWsbar associates and supporters:

This is a call to action.

We have been advised of an active federal consultation regarding Canada's Employment Equity Act (EEA).

You are encouraged to read our guidance below, as well as the government's Guide to written submissions for the Employment Equity Act Review, and respond to the government's invitation to tell them what a woman is -- before April 28, 2022.

Public Consultation on the Review of the EEA

What is a woman? Is it a sex category? A social status? A personal identity?

The federal government task force is examining this question as part of a review of the Employment Equity Act and its supporting programs.

The Task Force will consider if the definition “woman” should be “updated and modernized” or new employment equity groups added to reflect the needs of LGBTQ2+ stakeholders.

This is an opportunity for your opinion regarding the definition of woman to be recorded and considered as the government moves forward with it LGBTQAI+ inclusion strategies.

Please also share this email with those persons whom you expect would be motivated to respond.

In solidarity, caWsbar Steering Committee

What about the word man?

DontLikeCrumpets · 21/04/2022 19:47

That Whatsnewpussyhat is an excellent question. That they are not asking for the definition of "man" seems to border on incompetence.

fyi no need to out yourself as GC as only an email is required (you do not have to fill out any forms with your name and address)

Borders on incompetence and falls splat on its face in the middle of misogyny.

The trend of erasing the female sex is happening everywhere in the West, but the boundaries of the male sex are not challenged at all.

This is the clearest sign of the sexism and misogyny in the gender identity movement.

I will submit to this, not that I think it will do much good.

Canada is in a bad place now and frankly I think is getting worse.

So women potentially need to budge up for men who want to be called ‘women’ , but men do not have the possibility of sharing their word with female born people, mentioned. Does trans only go one way now?

DontLikeCrumpets · 27/04/2022 18:01

Today is the last day to submit email demanding the Canadian govt define woman biologically as a human adult female.

Anyone get that joke?

Some public consultations require forms to be filled when submitting one's opinion but this doesn't. One simply needs to write an email. No identification is required.

Let's put it this way if men can self-id as women then all women should self-id as Canadian when it's in the interest of all women to do so.

@MrsTerryPratchett

Should you or anyone want to add their voice, use a yahoo email account that has a .com instead of one that has a .uk ending.
