Financial Conduct Authority consultation reveals the City prefers sex to gender

The FCA's proposal to include transwomen in new female diversity targets has been dropped after a consultation. There were 439 responses and 438 said targets should be based on sex, not gender.

There's only a link for the Telegraph at the moment and it's behind a pay wall, but perhaps Pips Bunce isn't quite as popular in the City as he thinks he is. (I understand Pips Bunce refers to himself as male and so I'm taking my lead from him on the pronoun front.)

I’m one of the 438! Thank you for posting this as I filled in the consultation online and had completely forgotten about it.

More clear views being expressed.

Sex matters. 🙂

438 out of 439! Obviously not open to Twitter, that consultation...

So bloody relieved. I too filled it out. Amazed to see the result. And still they let people choose to include transwomen, is that right?
