They've backed themselves into a corner.

Self ID means this person is a woman if they say they are. If the trans lobby even suggested this person was a chancer it destroys all their arguments.

I'm sure "old fashioned" transexuals are mightily pissed off but their numbers are too small to do anything about it.

The other possibility is that it is part of a package of psychological disturbances of some kind which also accounts for the behaviour in the train station.

In which case affirming this individual's delusions is not likely to be a really "kind" thing to do.

This is insane. If he gets out, commits another crime but doesn't get caught, will people will be told to look out for a woman and allow him to hide in plain sight? I'm all for live and let live but when someone poses a danger to the wider community, they shouldn't be given a state sponsored way of hiding their real identity.

I hate this. I don't want to live in a world where women are judged by their appearances. It shouldn't be a test if someone looks like a women. Women should be able to look like men and still be women.

This man and others like him are just laughing at the absurdity that they are getting away with being classed as a wonan. Please tell me he will be going to a men's prison.

Thankfully the most recent news report did have his photo so it was obvious but reading the earlier reports they give a completely inaccurate news account as they make no reference to the accused being trans. It is ridiculous.

They've just been discussing this on TV (GB News, of course, the only channel which reports on this stuff every day. Totally ignored, or lied about, by most other media.

I struggled a little to find the article to link. I originally saw it on my Microsoft Edge home page at work. I then later went on to the Metro site on my phone to post, but there was no obvious headline. I had to Google and even then it wasn't easy.
