I went recently (friends suggested it; don't judge me). (friends and I don't talk about trans issues because we know we don't agree, but we don't want to fall out as we otherwise like each other; again, don't judge me).
There was a pretty interesting show on the history of periods, the people working front of house were pleasant, and (this may sound weird) they let dogs in and it was lovely to see dogs in a space like that.
But I don't think I'll go again; I didn't buy anything in the shop as I found I didn't feel I wanted to contribute to their 'cause'; and they trip themselves up: there's a statement that they 'only use the word woman in quotes from historical sources' but several of the captions/accompanying text bits DO use the dread word in a non-historical context.
Apart from anything else, I'm an editorial professional, and inconsistency/contradiction is one of my (many) bugbears
