So rash and biased.
Perhaps written by someone who never thought of first checking what happens in the reverse direction?
What about the pile-ons trans activists initiate against women disagreeing with them? What about all the thousands of nasty things JK Rowling receives on a permanent basis? And all those she mentions approvingly in a tweet, what about the pile-ons they then experience? And the terfisaslur website?
A proper analysis would point out that this happens in both directions, and then would dig deeper, to find out how common it is in each case, figure out some numbers and levels of threats, and then study all the data before writing something. But this is not meant to be a proper analysis, of course, just propaganda.
I am, however, in agreement with the writer on the horrors that Twitter incites, the collective screams of rage which are shot (perhaps unintentionally) at anyone who says something the other side disagrees with. Owen Jones' followers do this all the time, and there are many others I could mention here.
