I couldn't see a thread on this, so thought I'd mention it in case anyone has missed it.

Deep Deception was published a couple of weeks ago, written by 5 of the many women police officers formed intimate relationships with (including fathering some children) in order to 'gather intelligence' about environmental and political activism.
One of the women wasn't even an activist - she just shared a house with people who were.
Starts from when the women first met the men they fell in love with, the men's disappearance, their gradual uncovering of the truth and connecting with each other, through to the enquiry which the police are still stalling as much as they can.
Incredibly traumatised, years of their lives stolen from them.
Would be really useful for young activists now, to understand some of the tactics police use in their abuse of women.
