The "Yeet the teet" TikTok "doc" under scrutiny at last.

I am sickened at the thought that even one patient has had such negative results. I am not keen to see just how many are impacted.

If 'normal' investigative journalist instincts applied, like they used to before this blew up, someone would surely have been making a documentary on Dr 'Yeet the Teets' and her clients.

I am pleased someone is doing something but I'm so cynical now I can't get past the idea that children have been exploited for profit by one adult whilst others watched on and said nothing and now another adult has realised those same children could also be a meal ticket for them.

I hope some serious journalists are finally looking into this woman and other surgeons. It's very dodgy stuff when you dig into it.

Why did you delete my message? I was questioning why parents are smiling in the photos of children who had undergone double mastectomies in attempts to “transition”. I was questioning how parents can allow this to happen to their children, and even seem happy about it.

It’s an interesting point Francesca. In the Sweden thread there’s an article about an Australian girl who transitioned and started making enquiries about a mastectomy. I think she was trying to use her parents health insurance so they heard about it and got in touch with the surgeon and explained all her mental health problems and that he was not to operate on her. He didn’t but he said they were the only parents who’d ever opposed the operation.

Unfortunately it is going to take court cases to apply the brakes to the treatment of children in this way and whilst no doubt many lawyers will simply view this as a new income stream, from reading the article it seems to me that this lawyer has a genuine interest in ethics and doctors not harming children so she seems to be doing it for the right reasons.

The great think will be if Dr Gallagher sinks under the weight of malpractice suits and ideally gets struck off. Whoever it is that does the digging and brings it to court and to the attention of the wider public and medical services.

Yes I am. I agree with you but remain angry and frustrated that legal action will be required to stop the harm to children when the potential for harm was so obvious.

Well thank God for parents who keep an eye on what their children are up to and can see the situation for what it is (MH issues).
