Anyone know whether it's silk or polyester? I presume polyester at that price, but would like to know for sure.

Unhelpful as I don't know for sure! I presume the same; don't think it could be silk at that price at 110X100 (cm?). 43X39 inches.

An advantage is that you wouldn't have to worry about it being too delicate as you stylishly drape it/ tie it onto various things.

What kind of feminist does she say she's not? I'm sure she believes in women's suffrage, and the colours haven't been used much by feminist groups in the last 100 years so are due a revival.

It's something we've lost in recent years with all these purity spirals and sniping from the sidelines at women courageous enough to speak out. I have huge admiration for all women speaking out at the moment, no matter how small the comment, the sticker, the ribbon or the act.

Among my regrets is that once I could have bought an old silver bracelet with "Votes For Women" engraved on its clasp. It had the three colours of stones running the whole length, too. But I had no money.
