All of the above in my non expert opinion. I don't know what on earth the prison service thinks it is doing by indulging any of this person's fantasies or fetishes like this. Can no one say "no" to certain types of people these days??

I feel really sad for his victim. Presumably the man he was sharing a cell with was in for a low level crime. (Even if he was in for something worse he should have been safe, we do not sanction murder as a punishment in this country) It feels like he has been totally dehumanised by the prison service, by allowing his killer to play make believe in the wake of his death.

The state should have protected him. They have learned no lessons from his death and rub salt in the wound pandering to the manipulative murderer.

Yes it is a yet another massive failing of the prison service.

I note that Polmont is a Male YOI, this is pure speculation but I wonder if this claiming to be an adult baby is in response to not being moved to a girls' YOI upon starting to identify as female.

Apologies if I've got the timeline wrong. I really don't want to re-read that. The young man who was murdered didn't deserve to be killed, whatever his crime.

I also note that being a baby, needing a dummy etc doesn't extend to this individual not being able to express their needs in a very clear, adult manner. Feels like manipulating the system to me.

The reporting in that Metro is very selective, so much left out which makes this far worse than that report would lead you to believe.

Eastwood committed the murder in 2004 and did not change gender identity until 2016, they have been in a women's prison since 2018.

Ah right, sorry. Thanks for the clarity FOJN. I only had a quick Google. Great, so another case of vulnerable women being stuck in with a violent male bodied criminal. And now one who wants the attention and resources to be focussed upon them and their fetish. A baby is not a gender or sexual identity.
