Would you apply for a job with a Stonewall champion organisation?

I’ve been job hunting for some time now and have ticked boxes on many a batshit list asking me to disclose what sex most closely matches my gender identity, what gender was assigned to me at birth etc. Needs must so I’ve just gritted my teeth and done it.

I’m now looking at a really interesting role but this organisation has Stonewall plastered all over the D&I section of their annual report.

Am I right to be really put off by this?

If it's somewhere like Marks and Spencers who have openly thrown women's safety under the bus in favour of Stonewall points, then I'd run a mile.
If it's that the D & I section was written by a self interested individual / team yet the rest of the organisational culture seems appropriately diverse and genuinely inclusive of all relevant groups, then I'd be less bothered.
Think you need to dig a little further.

I would be put off and when I have filled out applications full of gender stuff and nothing about sex, I make myself as clear as I can ticking prefer not to say if no sex option and writhing female sex not gender if there is a box to write in.

I would not work for a organization where I felt my freedoms as a woman where oppressed it's not worth the toll on my mental health.

I'd be put off but would go to an interview. If the interview panel asked for my pronouns and there were mixed sex toilets or other such anti-woman rubbish I wouldn't want to work there.
