Great snippet here from Calvin Robinson who kept his head and spoke very clearly on the erasure of women's rights due to the pressure of trans activism.

The (I assume) host of the show is clearly a woman hater. At one point he laughed and said "so men are better at being women than women" - yet wants us to agree that Transwomen are women??

I've seen so many MRA's say that online. Interesting to see it coming from TRAs as well. They think its a gotcha, they dont realise its a tell.

WhereYouLeftIt · 04/04/2022 16:28

Don't know the his name, but I've seen him on Andrew Doyle's 'Free Speech Nation' show sometime. He's always the same, doing a damned fine impersonation of the Pub Bore.

Rightsraptor · 04/04/2022 16:31

The man in the middle is Leo Keirse, a stand up comedian I think, who is often on Andrew Doyle's Free Speech Nation. He is a bit of an arse. Not one of life's deep thinkers. I do like how Calvin drew attention to how Keirse had immediately made it about transwomen when the issue was about the definition of woman.

Lottapianos · 04/04/2022 16:38

I don't know much about Calvin Robinson but he is very sane and solid on this issue. Agree that the other bloke is an utter arse

Helleofabore · 04/04/2022 16:38

Calvin is consistently clear. He get's right to the point, every time.

BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz · 04/04/2022 16:45

He even highlighted the imbalance of the panel saying this was about womens rights yet the panel was 2x men and 1x woman.

That was great, Calvin talks so fast he must have had 10 coffees before going on the chat but he certainly articulated everything perfectly!

I like it when people speak so clearly there's no room for arguing with what they say.

Pudmyboy · 04/04/2022 22:11

I liked how he pointed out that it was a discussion on what is a woman but the other bloke tried to turn it to a discussion about trans women, he very clearly explained that was not what the discussion was about but the other bloke had tried to sabotage it

Abhannmor · 05/04/2022 11:14

Something better than a woman would be something other than a woman surely . If words are to retain any meaning . Some putative third sex which doesn't exist. We could have a 4th sex for the ' better at being a man ' people. Looney toons

ButlerianJihad · 05/04/2022 11:50

Leo's partner is a transwoman I believe. He occupies a strange position where I've more often seen him being attacked for transphobia. But he is sincere when he says that he finds that men make better women than women. Similar to Rod Fleming on youtube who has several videos on Blanchards typology.

Deliriumoftheendless · 05/04/2022 12:03

So he means transwomen make better partners then?

ElaineMarieBenes · 05/04/2022 12:15

I don’t know Calvin but I think I love him!

ElaineMarieBenes · 05/04/2022 12:19

Well not enough to vote for him - but I still thank him for his stance and support of women.

BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz · 05/04/2022 12:20

he says that he finds that men make better women than women

I don't understand what he means when he says this. Men don't meet any of the legal criteria to be categorised as women (female), so does he mean men do better at fitting the stereotype of what some people think a woman should be, than most females do?

Does Leo mean ‘transwomen, being male, are better at being a man’s idea of a woman’?

Horcruxe · 05/04/2022 12:26

He speaks really well and had a load of great points.

Especially- why are there 2 men on a panel that are discussing - what is a woman.

KnightonShiningArmour · 05/04/2022 13:29

I think Leo is just a contrarian.

LauriePartridge4Eva · 05/04/2022 13:45

Men who say that are talking about the glamour and dress of men who pretend to be women. They are such misogynists they think that is being a woman. Women's bodies are amazing and no man's body compares IMO. Although I do think women who transition can make more attractive men than actual men.

Artichokeleaves · 05/04/2022 14:23

It means in essence that male people best enact the male perception and stereotypes of what it means to be a woman.

Well they would, wouldn't they?

This also explains the absolute lack of interest in women, joining women, caring a single toss about women - it isn't a desire to join women, it's a desire to replace women as a category with the new and improved male model.

Can open. Misogyny everywhere. It's quite mindblowing how much, to what extent, and how embedded it is in men who seemed quite nice and normal.
