Tediously predictable, but worth recording, yet again, that this bias is coming from within social media platforms, not just orchestrated by far away 'bot farms'.

This is a campaign for women to have their sex based rights recognised and upheld in law by politicians. So why is it saying 'members of the trans community and allies' advocate for their rights?' This is a campaign by women. It should rather read 'women advocate for their rights' ! And I thought there was NO clash between women's rights and trans rights at all so why is 'sex based rights' being placed in opposition with trans rights? Are they finally admitting that trans rights tramples on women's sex based rights?

No doubt be followed by the calls of "they're literally trying to deny my existence".

I've never seen anyone deny their existence, yet they're trying to deny science.

I've heard KM does now have one. Which goes to show how ridiculous it all is, and why the GRA is bad law.

BernardBlackMissesLangCleg · 01/04/2022 16:04

KM = wife strangler Kellie Maloney??

really?

oh, sorry, KM = that dingbat in the tweet. with you now

Waitwhat23 · 01/04/2022 16:08

That just shows what a nonsense the legal fiction of 'acquired gender' is.

thinkingaboutLangCleg · 01/04/2022 16:15

Are they finally admitting that trans rights tramples on women's sex based rights?

Ooops! They didn't mean to say that out loud.

Yes a different dingbat.

I know what you mean about the seagulls, but I beg to submit for consideration…

(Also, I find the level of unabashed rank stupidity with which people have responded to this genuinely quite distressing. When I say “stupid”, for the avoidance of all doubt, I don’t mean people who are not academically inclined; & I don’t mean people with learning difficulties much less learning disabilities. I mean the people who insist that “nonsense made-up thing” &/or “utterly misunderstood thing” are super-special ADVANCED science that people so stupid as to believe there are a mere 2 sexes [variously primary or secondary school science depending on the condescension level] couldn’t possibly hope to comprehend. It is very stereotypically male to loudly talk complete nonsense & hope not to get caught out - but there are plenty of women willing to insist that the science fictions being declared to be true are absolutely real current science fact. I find people lying so genuinely distressing that I can’t read that much of it because I end up literally tearing my hair out. Not on purpose, to be clear, but because I twist my hair to self-soothe & it can only take so much.)

It is, at least, daily proving our point that women's rights are indeed 'pie', that whenever we gather to discuss women's rights they start kicking off like this and make it all about them.
