I think I was very naive! So is that question less about treatment of trans people as a particular sex in their healthcare setting, and more about whether they can have easy access to or funding for particular procedures?
(Because every single one of those things eg surgery, hormones, etc is still dependent on bio sex being known isn't it?)

I would imagine it's rather relevant to know someone's biological sex before deciding between types of surgical removal of body parts.

The mother knows the truth the split second the newborn is seen for the first time. BOY OR GIRL.
If DNA is ever used it would show a male or a female.
If the body were found and DNA used it would show male or female.
