@StillWeRise

what is she referring to?
The essentials don't change so I should think it's material reality v. immersive fiction.

StillWeRise
I'm thinking Brexit. Bit late!
Seriously though - sanity about insanity.

She nails it and explains how the mess happened

"The only people who think women are a gender are academics, trans ideologues (how these two strands end up intersecting is another whole story), and the kids who have been raised of Tumblr."

And this post describes in chilling detail exactly how it happens on tumblr, shared by JKR: lacroicsz.substack.com/p/by-any-other-name?s=r

This is good too. Not sure when she said this as the date isn't on it.

Don’t understand the context but it's unfortunate that she used the ‘words are violence’ trope.

It's not that she means 'words are violence'. A movement can do violence to a set of principles - simple metaphor.

JellySaurus · 27/03/2022 16:28

the thought
that women were too busy, too
stupid, too compliant
, too
powerless, and too despised by
this society

...and too kind.

She's right. What could have been a movement to increase goodness in society, does exactly the opposite.
