All about, "What is a woman?" tonight. Just started. Should be good.

They also covered this story last Friday and really went for it. They delete their RAW shows from youtube but if you search: odysee triggernometry, you'll find a video with a very direct title that mentions Lia Thomas. Start at 13 minutes in if you want to see some blokes feeling free to speak very frankly and take the piss.

I was going to write all kinds of disclaimers here about offensive content and their shows being blokey bants with much to offend feminists but assuming we're are grown-ups here, people can decide whether to look and to come to their own conclusions.

They've changed their tune - as is their wont, of course.

I remember when they interviewed Posie (as she was then) and they ummed and ahhed about the sport issue.

They said trans id males could use the female changing facilities, but not play on the womens sports teams.

I wonder how much of it was the fellas simply playing devils advocate, but Posie was able to make them see that the cognitive dissonance of the conflicting statements.

We say 'no' to everything.
Not picking and choosing because they interviewed and liked IW.
Just no.

They interviewed Posie a second time and were much more in agreement with her. India Willoughby blew a gasket on twitter.

Can't say it offends me. They are clearly joking. Unlike someone like Frankie Boyle who quite obviously has a massive problem with women.

They’re willing to develop their views and say they were wrong. Publicly.

Posie helped show them the dissonance. Douglas Murray and various trans women have too. So they’ve listened and changed their minds.

I have great respect for that and I think we should be encouraging anyone who takes that approach.

Same.

Did you know they interviewed Posie twice and that the second time round, not so long ago, they said they were much more on board with what she was saying? Have you seen how much of gender identity ideology they are flat-out rejecting these days? They have been listening and thinking and they have changed their minds.

We don't want to try to persuade only those who think like us and share our political beliefs. This will turn around when all kinds of people with all kinds of disagreements with each other look at this issue rationally and start looking at the evidence and asking questions about the gaps.

Ah, I should have refreshed the page before posting.

Before anyone jumps in, I'm not saying these are great people who we must all follow and agree with. They say a mix of things some I agree with and some I disagree with. I'm also aware that much of their outrageous commentary is exaggerated for comedic effect because they're comedians.

NecessaryScene · 25/03/2022 09:35

It's also worth watching Posie's interview with them on her channel, where she asks them about how their thinking evolved.
