How to support on the quiet?

Hi,

I don’t post on this board often but follow the discussions.

I want to share what happened to me recently hopefully without outing myself and ask for some support as you all seem far more clued up than I am.

Over the last couple of years I’ve become very concerned about what I view as attempts to eradicate women rights. Im not anti trans and have never expressed any such views but I have supported JKR on social media and called out some companies which are not pro-women.

Someone has taken the time to find these posts and send them to my employer in an attempt to get me sacked. I can’t even begin to describe how I feel about that, thankfully I’m not in trouble as nothing I said was anti anyone. However I now feel like whoever is in this movement is trying to shut down the voices of normal non famous women like me and it’s just made me even more mad!

So I guess I’m trying to warn others that this is going on, my social media is set to private and doesn’t reference my work so some good detective work has taken place. And then also to ask how do you support this without posting publicly?

There’s no way I’m going to be kept quiet but I can’t risk my job.

The Forstater case means you can't be discriminated against in the workplace for holding gender critical views

So sorry OP. It's the only tactic they have - threatening and silencing as facts, humanity and democracy are not on their side.

It is worth checking that all our security systems are as tight as they can be to protect us - but the tide is turning very fast as the excessive overreach exposes so many extremists who are using this ideology to hate on women.
