I've only just started paying attention to Twitter so am very behind the times. I see a lot of support for GC views. Has it increased recently or similar to what it has always been over the last few years?

I think it has gone up in the last year, despite Twitter's attempts to strangle such views.

GC support has grown enormously since 2018.

I am vehemently and very prolifically GC on twitter, under my real name too.

I have got tonnes of new followers in the last year and a lot of support. I notice that very militant TRAs, like Laurie penny, Katie Montgomery etc aren't getting the free ride they have come to expect any more and they are coming across as more and more unreasonable as they push back against the very rational, sensible and respectful questioning and challenging they are getting.

I think the tide has shifted pretty dramatically on Twitter in the last few years.

As an example, in about 2018 I replied to a charity post that was offering smear tests to 'people with a cervix' saying 'those people are called women'. On the back of that some sad little Incels started contacting my employer trying to get me fired for being a transphobic bigot.

Now I could tweet that all day long and the absolutely vast majority of people would agree as it's just factual.

Also - thanks to Swimmer Thomas for peaking a lot of people. Combined with JKR, MF, and so on, not as many people are ready to scream BIGOT on the back of their oh so righteous fury any more.

Yeah, Lia Thomas is giving us a HUGE boost on Twitter. Cheers, Lia!

Yeah I find it hard to tell as to be honest I don't bother to engage with TRAs as it's just a waste of time. I feel like when I started to notice what was going on I never saw news articles on anything but I now see a lot more which is hopeful but I'm cautious as there seems so much money and corruption behind this movement.

I had over 1,000 followers on twitter before they banned my account for asked an NBs why they dont just say I am an individual.

I will never bother going back on there.
