I'm just sharing this because it showed up on my feed, unsure if there's another thread?
It's just so horrifying.

Seems like, man murders and abuses babies, carries their dead bodies around for months, gets put on death row, then as soon as he claims trans status equating "most victimised, misunderstood, vulnerable, minority, oppressed person ever to have existed" - he's released from death row and placed in the women's prison after getting a boob job.

There simply aren't words. It just makes me so angry and upset , and is more evidence we need to fight against this utter batshittery coming from the heart of America.

He got a boob job in prison? What? Seriously? The sick fucking bastard. Sick fucking system that puts him before dead babies.

Reading the article now:

• this person was in a controlling relationship with the mother of one of the murderered children
• the mother was also imprisoned and housed at the Central California Women's Facility prison
• she was only transferred out of that prison a few days before her ex partner was released into the general prison population.

Forcing contact with a specific previous victim would seem like just the kind of reason a controlling man might have to adopt a trans identity, no?

Yesterday I had a SM argument (I know, I know...) with someone whose reply, when I asked 'do you think it's OK to have transwomen in female prisons?' was 'do you know what happens to transwomen who go to male prisons?'

I am sooo fed up of being called transphobe for stating something so blatantly obviously wrong.

To be fair, from the article, it seems he benefitted from a general stay of execution issued by the governor. It wasn't granted specifically to him because he claimed to be trans. The fact that the mother of the murdered babies just escaped being confined with him again is chilling.
Is the extent of his surgery just breasts? I don't want to read the article again. If he still has male genitalia he could impregnate some other poor woman. Maybe pick up where he left off.

I don't agree with the death penalty, but cases like his....

My response was a rehearsed "Why does that mean women need to be raped and assualted? Isn't that for the authorities to deal with within the male estate?"

I was called a fucking terf, but the other people wiuth us nodded and said that it really didn't make sense that women should be assaulted to make one man feel safer. So pretty much a turnaround in what I expected.

It wasn't a group I expected to return to, so I was feeling brave. I might go back, given that response

So, they have a specific Act that ensures transwomen have dignity but not one for women - or anyone else it seems!

It's not women's fault that men bum rape and slap other men in prison on a regular basis. So why punish women for the actions of men?.

In fact, in my understanding it's mainly male perpetrators of sex crime and in particular paedophiles who are the most "vulnerable" in prison ie they get the most attacks usually of a sexual and violent nature.

So how about we simply move all paedophiles and sex criminals to the women's estate to keep them safe from assault from other males. MAKES SENSE???

I agree. IMO he wants notoriety. He sold a vehicle knowing he'd left a body in it, I think he was trying to traumatise as many people as possible and get caught.

These are my thoughts too. I imagine that if we were to say them, we'd get 'you are accusing TW of being paedophiles!'

Agree this person should not be in a female prison.

They weren’t moved from death row due to trans status though according to that article. (Though trans status meant the move was to female vs make general population prison.
