All staff call focuaing on IWD and someone piped up about the poor hard-done-by most womeny of all women, victims of victims and their experience of gender inequality. Sigh.

Nicely handled by the presenter who just returned the conversation to a question about sanitary products in office bathrooms, which was reassuring. But there's always one, isn't there?

Why are so many people into “whataboutery”? IWD is purely for women, the clue is in the name. If men or kids or trans people want a day, they can have their own, not gatecrash ours.

I thought they got a whole month. Just let us have our damn day!

They do have their own. That's what makes it extra annoying.

Was by it stonewall or the lawyers (I forget their name) who advised that every other event or celebration was an opportunity to piggy-back?

They get several days, plus a month, plus they take over all the LGBT ones.
