I am sure you have all seen it but he praises Janice Turner:

Thanks for the heads up iknowitshere I've just been over to read.

I was already a huge fan of his for his Today work, and I heard him on Jeremy Vine's R2 show and it was one of the vanishingy rare occasions I've downed tools to listen with my full attention. I have such a lot of respect for him.

I love his webchat answers about sex/gender. How many webchat guests are so direct and honest?

Quick quote -
To me facts are important and sex matters. It's also a huge political hot potato on the left and we ought to be taking an interest in that as well. I hope Stonewall will continue to come on the programme (they did recently) and be treated respectfully but sceptically as all pressure groups should be.

That was great - I think some people could learn a lot from him. Funny, articulate, clear and not patronising.

I was really worried he was going to sidestep the gender critical question(s) and was just about to comment he might fall out of favour with women if he did, but then he did answer bellini's question which happened to be first on the thread.

Aw sad I missed this! He sounds great.

How odd that I'm profoundly grateful to Justin Webb for being so unequivocal.
