This looks like it will be really interesting and I'm hoping to attend. Are you planning on going?

Campervan69 · 06/03/2022 12:22

Yes, got my ticket. Got mum friends interested who this wasn't on their radar previously. Concerned now how it will affect their children.

I’ve got a ticket, too - looking forward to it!

Worrysaboutalot · 07/03/2022 09:13

I will be there everything crossed. My first meeting!

TheSonjaMorgan · 07/03/2022 11:16

I will be there. Hope there's no trouble. Am thinking finally in 2022 women might be able to meet to discuss matters of concern to them without men trying to stop them, or am I being naive?

BingBongSong · 07/03/2022 23:12

I would love to go, but no childcare that evening Sad.

Boadicea2 · 24/03/2022 23:47

Saying on Twitter that there were intimidating protests at this meeting. I hope everyone's ok.

Absolutely terrifying how many men are being emboldened in their hated of women under the cloak of 'trans rights'

I hope everyone got home safely

Boadicea2 · 25/03/2022 00:21

Just realised there's another thread. Looks like the exit was managed safely even if the police did not disperse the protest earlier as they should have done.

zighead · 26/03/2022 23:50

It did feel very daunting hearing the protestors outside but thankfully the police dispersed the crowd about fifteen minutes before the end so managed to get away safely.

Maria MacLachlan has made a video about it. Her youtube channel is awesome and deserves more subscribers.

Rightsraptor · 27/03/2022 04:27

The police not dispersing the protestors till just before the end seems very calculated.

[/quote] part way through this, it's really good. Seeing the parallel between this and domestic abuse situations was astute
