I have a child in need meeting next week, the social worker said i need to get a non molestation order against my ex partner. So my question is do i have to?

Why wouldn't you? I assume there are some severe concerns about you and your child around your ex?

Yes you need to try at least or they will not feel you are safeguarding your child
