They will soon be in the news again, and we are still waiting for their last ‘investigation’ in October for kicking women out of one of their pubs for wrong thought

So they decided that because a woman who you don’t agree with comes in with a crowd of other people, you call the police? Seriously?

Sorry, to clarify, there was a similar kicking out in October, this was Feb 28th, City of Quebec pub. Greene King seem to be concerned but as they never fed back from their last investigation, I’m not convinced of their sincerity.

I was not there, this is all from tweets primarily from Dr EM @PankhurstEM who was there and Obsolesence @Obsolesence; both are names I trust to report this.

So it has been a gay bar for a long time - Mostly older gay men by the looks of it until the ‘new crowd’ moved in. They sound awful.

I spent a lot of time on lesbian and gay bars/nightclubs in my younger years and NEVER felt unsafe or threatened. Nor did I even encounter a male in the ladies loos (with the exception of the odd teary/harassed young man who had been whisked in by other women for their own safety when they were being hassled by a odd bloke). What’s changed?

I wasn't at this demo but was at the last one in Nottingham. I would be shocked if anyone vandalised a Pride flag, we were definitely not the aggressors then and I can't see the mood/ethos of the protest changing that radically.

Wandered by there today - not flying the rainbow yfronts flag and no ‘Mayor approved LGB-XYZ pub’ poster in the window. Just looked like a typical, boring old grubby London pub.

Maybe it’s just weekends when the weekend staff are on that it becomes women- unfriendly.

No credence should be given to the accusation unless there are photos that show the women actually putting stickers on the flag as it would have been easy for TRAs to have done so at a later time
