Feminism: Sex and gender discussions
**@mirax* @DomesticatedZombie* I thought it was centrist in my student days when I lived there but I’d say it’s clearly right leaning now. Cancelling my subscription is on my to do list. Their Mother’s Day article/opinion last year explained that if you felt ‘mum guilt’ for going back to work that was because you should, your subconscious knows you should be home with young children bringing them up. A business newspaper, telling mums on Mother’s Day to get back into the kitchen and home.
I was fully aware of the WSJ's bias and subbed for its Wuhan and China coverage in 2020 which was pretty good. The forums drove me mad. I was only interested in the international news but no matter the topic, it descended into partisan and very parochial mudslingling. Americans are insular and not particularly curious about the world. I could only take about a year of it. The NYT and Wapo are worse imo.

Is there a way of saving a link to this thread? I want to be able to link back to it when my workplace introduces pronoun woo - I feel it won't be long.

I heart that cat.

The answer is always I and me. We at a push.

There was an independent study of US media done a few years ago that showed that the WSJ’s news coverage was actually left of centre - and further left than some other outlets that traditionally identify themselves as liberal.
The edit pages are a different matter, with no crossover between the opinion and news writers. Opinion is generally right-wing and occasionally quite rabid. So this is a surprisingly sensible piece!

On my phone, I swipe left (I think) and it comes up with an option to watch the thread. It then goes into your watched list.

You can bookmark the last post read on a thread by swiping left on that post and click on bookmark.

As you've commented on this thread, it will also be saved into Threads I'm On tab too.
