As that would reflect the times we are living in.

It's a modern day witch hunt

There was a lovely play that the National Theatre put on called Witches Can’t Be Burned. It was about the stereotypes of girl/women roles in plays and was set in a mixed-sex school, who were entering a competition performing The Crucible. My favourite line was when the girls were in the costume cupboard:
‘They’re whore costumes from Cabaret. And the corsets are for the whores in Les Mis the year before. They’re keeping the hot pants for the whores in Miss Saigon.’

It was so nice to have a play that was written before any of the gender nonsense that would no doubt creep into real school chat today.

Oh and my Dd irl was told she couldn’t play a whore til Year10 which she said limited her chances of a part in a school musical.

You might try The end of the World is flat by Simon Edge.

They wouldn't show the play in Scotland though. Everyone concerned would be hauled off under the Hate Crimes (Scotland) Act.

Swear · 22/02/2022 22:14

The actors' copies of the play would no doubt be seized (as provided for in the Act) and destroyed (as provided for in the Act).

Tell me about it.

It's getting ridiculous. The Hadley Freeman article triggered all the usual Scottish women pile on, safely encouraged and cosseted by Sturgeon.

Men don't really get engaged, why bother?

But the amount of Scottish women throwing other women under the bus is astonishing.

And all to make men feel comfortable.

Never thought I'd see the day. Thank fuck for Women in Scotland.

Actually, can I donate to Women for Scotland anonymously?

I apologise for anonymity but I'd literally lose my bloody job

Just donated to crowd justice.

You can donate to Fair Play For Women anonymously for the case they're fighting in Scotland on the definition of "women". See their website.
