Thanks for that share token. It’s daunting that stone wall has embedded itself so much into the universities to garner so much uncritical support such as in the letter supporting SW.

Mummyoflittledragon · 20/02/2022 09:33

Quite apart from the intimidating, awful behaviour, I’m shocked that the majority of academics are pro stonewall.

NancyDrawed · 20/02/2022 09:45

Are they pro Stonewall, though? Or afraid of being targetted if they don't, like Havel's greengrocer?

DoubleYouOhEmAyEn · 20/02/2022 11:50

That article says Stonewall is a gay rights organisation. It hasn't been focused on gay rights since the legalisation of gas marriage. Its is now all about the T, not the LGB. If it was a gay rights organisation it wouldn't make lesbians feel uncomfortable by insisting they accept ladylike into their sexual preferences.

NotMyGenderGoblin · 20/02/2022 13:09

I have a feeling that lesbians exclude trans women because they are not women.... but the fact that most not "ladylike" is the icing on the cake of exclusion.

I have started complaining more and more - challenging organisations publicly and via email as to how on earth can they claim to be LGBT when the T is in direct opposition to the LGB. Time to up the ante and start complaining that academics are supporting stonewall and that such a hateful position is incompatible with continued employment?
