Great article. And it highlights the enormous costs of all the paperwork that Stonewall demands.

It's tragic that so many publicly-funded bodies are missing out on the opportunity to be more diverse and to do more for minorities because all they are focussing on is the T part of the 9 different protected characteristics.

This desperate drive to acquire more points for Sadiq Khan is embarrassing.

The flying of a custom Pride flag outside City Hall, which incorporated the bi flag, trans flag, and POC inclusive Pride flag, making it the most intersectional Pride flag ever flown outside a UK Government building. Sadiq Khan’s approval of the flag was a powerful symbol of the GLA’s support for LGBTQ+ equality both for GLA staff and Londoners.

A concert due to be held during Manchester's Pride festival has been scrapped as part of changes to how the charity operates.

MCR Pride Live will not go ahead this year under plans to place a greater emphasis on lobbying and education. Not about SW per se but interesting that their is disquiet in Pride Manchester. However, if they are now back to lobbying, which is clearly political, does that mean the police wont be waving flags or wearing rainbow epaulettes at the events?
