Actually discussing that sex exists and there is a difference between men and women. Bravo!

Oh no definitely misjudged the direction that took! I switched off as i felt the conversation was likely to go the other way and I've had my fill of disappointments today (Adele - who's music I don't care for but thought maybe worth another go... but no).

I will go back and listen. I really enjoy Hugo's Saturday morning show and do my Saturday chores listening to it Blush

This was really good and Nina Power had a lot to say about biology. I found her really positive and intelligent.

If this links to Hugo Rifkind, she's on at about 1.16
There were quite a few things on, after 12.00 Michael Schur on How to be Perfect and then Ivan Jablonka on the History of Masculinity. All relevant in different way, interesting and I enjoyed.

Sorry, 2 hours in, not after 12 which is when I was listening

Manderleyagain · 12/02/2022 14:19

She was on start the week radio 4 with Helen lewis, and also the author if the history of masculinity. That's worth finding too.

I looked up the history of masculinity book. Looks good.

I love his show on Times Radio he's genuinely sharp and funny.

I listened to this - she was like a blast of fresh air and they discussed it like it was any other normal subject - none of the cringing listing of caveats/provisos/exceptions and non of the pussy footing.

It is so much easier to understand without the veil of silence.

I like this programme too.
