So they are discussing the Brits being gender neutral, and a male caller brought up why not make all sporting matches, Wimbledon, golf etc gender neutral.

Storm (the presenter for those who aren't familiar) states 'ah I was wondering when that would be brought up, physicality is very different between men and women so that's where the discussion ends' or something to that effect.

She said it's a different debate and I'm not sure where both Storm and Jeremy have sat on the self ID issue, does anyone know? I wish they would discuss it if they haven't already.

Ooh! I may make a specific complain about the suicide statement. That Is soooooooooooooooooooooo not allowed and Fox Killer is fully aware.

If JV or another guest don't specifically rebut them I am going to have at it.

They were talking last week about pregnant people and twisting themselves inside language wise, talking about pregnant men giving birth. It was a full on emperor's new clothes moment - it would have been funny if it wasn't so scary. Not one person on that panel could bring themselves to state the bleeding obvious, that giving birth is literally the most female thing you can do and that it's a physical impossibility for men to do so!

I think he said he knew of two patients who had committed suicide waiting for treatment, but to me that is still implying that people will kill themselves if they don't get treatment.
And of course no one knows what other mental health issues those patients were facing at the time.
Only caught a few minutes while I was driving, so didn't catch the full interview.

Also JV seems to have literally no opinions. Unless it's about cyclists. He's so bland and middle of the road - quite an achievement to present a programme like that and still manage to sit on the fence

JM is so disingenuous - cross sex hormones are basically HRT - yes only for women.

I am so scared of all of this.

My DS came home yesterday and basically told me that gender reassignment surgery was minor surgery. He has been to a Diversity club at school and has been talking a lot about trans rights/ intersex etc.

I said it bloody isn't minor surgery. It is incredibly complex major surgery that will ruin fertility etc

1. It's not a debate, it's a fact, except when people are attempting to muddy the waters by denying that sex classes exist at all

Nothing convinces me more that the KWFK (kimono wearing fox killer) is motivated by malice against women than compassion for transpeople than this sad list of out of date and debunked TRA talking points.

Anyone with a real passion for the cause would have kept themselves up to date with the arguements being used to push gender ideology. These were all being used when I was just a junior TERF about 4 - 5 years ago.

Indeed. They don't replace; they invade.

Otherwise, we are presumably saying that these hormones 'replace' the hormones the child would have had, if they'd been born in a body of a different sex. But they weren't. The whole thing's medical insanity.

It was so jarring to hear Vine saying "Here's Katy..." and the voice being male.

The previous caller, Georgina, was complaining about having to wait for treatment. After two years of Covid, and people waiting for cancer treatment, or life-saving operations etc, it seems a bit petty to say 6 months between appointments is a long time to wait.

They were scathing about having to have two doctors' opinions before you can have treatment too - I think it's good to have some level of accountability on that front.
