Spinning off the EHRC thread...
I think there are lots of women who are working hard on small, vital projects which are not connected. I suspect that means there are many women reinventing the wheel trying to find legislative, health, press, justice, education or feminist resources in order to push their project forward.
MN is full of bright minds with diverse backgrounds, insights and professional expertise.
Most of us are working without funding, time or resources. Do you think we could use MN to get information and resources which are mutually beneficial and push a united front politically?
Would it be helpful to set up a "does anyone know about..."thread? where women could chuck in their expertise?
Of course, everything would have to be taken with a pinch of salt and you must check things before you use them, but I do know there are some big-brains-no-balls on here who might save you some time and energy.
So, if you are trying to keep a breastfeeding group for women, trying to find funding for a refuge that refuses male people, need help with a letter to your MP or school...if I can help you I will. Am confident I'm not alone in that.
