I would have thought Gender GP were falling foul of employment law by trying to avoid it?

GenderGP is based outside of the UK specifically to avoid UK laws.

I agree it is really wrong to think that just because someone identifies as trans, they are qualified to support vulnerable young people in a medical setting - but that is how this ideology works.

This isn't limited gender ideology but the broader movement. It is the tyranny of 'lived experience' which makes them expert above all others (including those with the wrong kind of lived experience). Thus academics with years of experience and research in the field, and often even their own lived experience, are dismissed in favour of an individual. "Nothing about us without us me"

GenderGP cares very little for the actual individual, they are simply a cash cow to them. I wonder if in a previous life H would have been at the top of a MLM outfit.

Helen Webberley was previously involved in something called 'shadow prescribing', where she would rewrite prescriptions for people in the US and obtain the drugs in the UK, taking advantage of the lower costs for some drugs which had been negotiated by the NHS. She was eventually thwarted in this venture when Maine (the US state her business was operating in) changed the law to prevent citizens from importing drugs from overseas.

Weirdly I'm not blocked which is a surprise because I'm blocked by a lot of people I've never interacted with.

I don't feel that sorry for Bristow. Bristow doesn't give a toss about women. Also has apparently just discovered they're autistic and instantly got Ritalin too (yes I know Ritalin isn't prescribed for autism).

Webberley is only in it for the £££. Bristow clearly has issues.

I don't have much more to say on the matter except to save your sympathy for someone who deserves it rather than an MRA like Bristow.

I don't care one bit about this person's woes. They helped make the bed they are lying in through their pursuit of a dangerous ideology, and complicity in the damage done to children, women, medicine and wider society by TRAs.

Maybe Kat is attempting to jump ship and accuse Gender GP of being mean to Kat so that Kat doesn't go down with the ship.

More worrying is the idea that KB is both naïve seriously misguided and has genuinely believed the gender stuff, including the idea that their behaviour towards women is acceptable.

A quick diagnosis from a non medical person. The cogitative dissonance when then faced with reality, including how you are expected to behave as an employee, especially a not very good one, is likely to lead to mental health issues.

This is why I worry for young trans people, including, say, Lily Madigan. They are lauded and applauded but no one checks their behaviour and tells them when it is unacceptable. Then, when they need to operate in a world outside their bubble, reality hits and any mental fragility is exposed. Not least they may start to realise they were being used.

Whilst the script they are required to say is likely just a sales script, it could also contain elements of medical advice and probably carefully constructed to not too boldly overstep the law of their operating country. No wonder they didn't want someone completely unqualified going off script.

How kind, sympathetic and accepting has Kat been previously of others who have not accepted the amazingness of Kats employers and their views previously?
