@AnotherLass

I was listening to some of Stella O'Malley and Sasha Ayed podcasts and one of them said something I thought was interesting on the Ken Zucker one: Zucker has incredibly senior, he was basically the world expert on childhood gender dysphoria. And the fact that his clinic was shut due to daring to go against affirmation, on trumped up charges, would have been noted by every clinician in the world, including those at GIDS. If they can get Zucker they can get anyone.
This was one of the things that first tweaked me to the fact that there was something really strange going on with all of this - elements of it were local to me so it really caught my eye. How could you talk about evidence based medicine when the foremost expert was being shut down for following the appropriate protocols? Which is what it was really about - there were some attempts to claim inappropriate personal behaviour but they did not stand up, and because they really wanted to challenge the protocol they had to include those elements.

The whole thing was completely dodgy and threadbare.
