Anyone see it tonight? Tom Ward, the last standup on, was v funny - pansexuals and adding your own boxes to forms, about 34:30 in, I'm still chuckling:

Yes! It was very funny and he made some great points!

Tidyspy · 22/01/2022 00:04

Indeed! It made me wonder when it was filmed, and what would happen to a woman who dared to say that stuff? Spot on though

Very good! I'll look out for him on the tour circuit. Love his trousers too!

TheMarzipanDildo · 22/01/2022 09:33

A non stick pan Grin

BernardBlackMissesLangCleg · 22/01/2022 09:58

really funny

and neatly encapsulates the exasperation I imagine many bisexual people feel about 'pansexuality'

at the end of the day, yes, yes you like person X, but if they like you too and you get together, how are you going to have sex? I know when I've really fancied people, that's something I've generally given quite a lot of thought to......I'm probably not very progressive though

JoodyBlue · 22/01/2022 10:33

Yeah he was funny! Refreshing. The general lack of humour usually is what is missing from the new culture. I loved the audience mix of youngish and older people laughing together.

ScreamingMeMe · 22/01/2022 10:39

I'm surprised they allowed that!

Imnobody4 · 22/01/2022 10:48

Thanks for sharing that, he was great.

Pasdelacasa · 22/01/2022 10:56

Magic eyes and ‘Other Other’ Grin

Very funny

viques · 22/01/2022 11:24

Very sharp, and accurate. “Only applies to young sexy people”, yes, some isms are more woke than other isms aren’t they.

I was going to add that I was impressed by his flexibility (in the shoe sketch) but realised in time that it might be misinterpreted.

Bearsinmotion · 22/01/2022 11:40

Never heard of him, he is great!

BaronessWrongCrowdRex · 22/01/2022 11:45

“It was an aura with a knife.” That really made me chuckle.

zanahoria · 22/01/2022 11:45

I love the way he extends the gender blind thing to absurdity

SignOnTheWindow · 22/01/2022 12:21

"Every soul's a goal" Grin

334bu · 22/01/2022 12:30

Thanks for the laugh.

NancyDrawed · 22/01/2022 13:02

'The ones I'm jealous of are pansexuals, they can't even see gender. They've got magic eyes.
Blinded by their own openness.'

Blackandwhitehorse · 22/01/2022 13:46

Alan Carr poked fun at non binary and all the new glam sexualities on his tour in Nov. Got a big laugh.

ChristinaXYZ · 22/01/2022 20:02

Thanks for that OP!

Alekto · 22/01/2022 20:51

There was a point near the beginning where it seemed the audience held their collective breath, unsure whether they were about to receive a fifteen minute lecture on how awful they were for their genital preferences, and then the plainly relieved applause when it became clear he was skewering absurd id pol adherents instead! Very good. Well done that man Grin

FortySeven · 22/01/2022 21:34

Loved this, thanks OP! Especially the bit about a pansexual witnessing a crime... "It was just an aura with a knife!" Grin

Agree a woman doing this routine would be pilloried though

ArabellaScott · 22/01/2022 22:41

@Pasdelacasa

Magic eyes and ‘Other Other’ Grin

Very funny

but I do see age- it's disgusting

"Blinded by their own openness" is a cracking summary.

Very enjoyable and astute set!
