I didn't know a man could be a TERF?!?!

It appears that the ability of male born sex offenders to access vulnerable women in prison is of particular interest. Can't imagine why - I would have thought that keeping clear boundaries from male sex offenders / predators would be a good thing but apparently that's incorrect and the demands of these men are to be prioritised. It's really not a good look.

Yy - we are (falsely) accused all the time of saying “all TW are sex offenders!” but TW aren’t exactly distancing themselves from the sex offenders in or trying to get in women’s prisons. Why is that?

Also in the DT - page 2 if the print edition, which says (not sure if DM and The Times also state) Staffordshire University is examining his tweets as the result of 'a single complaint about them from an unknown source'.

A single complaint to shake a career...crazy nuts. I feel sorry for him, it must be really impacting his mental health that his employers don't consider his wellbeing as part of their duty of care towards him.

I had the good fortune to have James as a lecturer when I was at what was then known as the University of Central England.
He had a real way of engaging with the students, very relatable and down to earth. Sending him good wishes as he deals with this.
