Any advice please.
Mum of 2 main care giver. Relationship with father has broken down. Father requested that mother take out a loAn as she had good credit and that he’d pay back. The £7k loan was taken out abs never repaid.
Father was living rent free and not supporting the family, however was working. Father has never contributed to nursery payments for child number 1 (now 6). Child number 2 (6 months old) no financial support given. Mother has decided to end the relationship based on being used as is covering all expenses. fathers income of £1500 approx (but can change as is self-employed)…according to the CM
Calculator father will need to pay £240 per month for both children. With child number 2 needing to attend nursery and that expense, it’s not enough. any advice?

Unfortunately NRPs are only required to pay the CMS amounts, which are often woefully low.
Has mum looked into/claimed UC? They help with childcare costs.

@Manu89 No advice but you might want to ask @mnhq to move this thread to chat or parenting section where you'll get more focussed responses as this topic is for discussion around gender and feminism (although appreciate your post could be argued to be in the right place!!)

Good luck
