Pretty much all the TWAW types don't believe it at all.

They all have a huge disconnect between their statements about tw and when they talk about anything else to do with women or girls. (The latter they forget TWAW and use women girls to mean sex, I've never seen anything by anyone in the public eye/ news outlets etc do anything else).

Unless the group have stated that they consider women to be a sex and not a gender identity, I don’t see this as any kind of change for Lammy. Presumably he always supported women’s rights in theory. It’s only the wrong kind of women who are dinosaurs.

He is on the horns of a dilemma. If it OK to insult women as a sex class for 'hoarding rights' then why should one group of women be allowed a single sex space and not others?

When his grasp of issues leads him to pontificate about men growing cervixes, I suspect he's reached his peak of insight into what a woman is. I'm not sure we can realistically expect much more from him sadly.

Well, he's doing something useful for a change if he gets them an uptick in donations. Sistah Space are fantastic.

I think they’d direct them to the specialised support they need, as they should.

I doubt it. I've always suspected that they plan to include males, but also that they may not have actually been forced to find out how it would work in reality.

I really really really wish one of these trans support organisations or you know, a group like the greens would work to create a trans dv support service. To help the community they continually explain are so marginalised. I’m sure many are victims of dv and need help, but focused specialised help would be the best. A truly safe space.

I think his reasoning is clear. Black women deserve protection, the others can get in the bin.
