Sorry in advance for some of you it's Fox News. But I thought the points made by the sports coach official were very pertinent and interestingly, she says she has received messages of support from olympic athletes although she doesn't name them.

I’m not in the least sporty , but how can anyone think that a man v woman is a level playing field? She is spot on . I honestly think that a woman wouldn’t want to win by cheating, a hollow victory.

I like the phrase "bodies compete against bodies; identities do not compete against identities".

It would be great to see more officials resigning. They must know it's not fair. I don't see how you can do that job and accept that a male can compete against females whatever the rules say.

@ArabellaScott. Yes, which is good, but it's a bit disheartening to see the 'she just wants to get on TV' and 'She abandoned the team' comments. I really fail to understand how this isn't just morally wrong to people. Do people really dismiss women so easily? If it was men's sports there would be no fence sitters. It seems so obviously unfair and discriminatory to women. Still, as you say, most upvotes in support is progress. Small mercies I guess.
