Sorry if this has already been mentioned on here - I couldn’t see anything about it yet and found the news heartening so wanted to share:

www.theguardian.com/education/2021/dec/21/ucl-becomes-first-university-to-formally-cut-ties-with-stonewall

As a precariously-employed member of staff at a totally captured academic institution, I’m hoping more universities have the guts to do the same.

You're late to the party. We celebrated last Thursday! Grin

(Sorry. Haven't read your link. I try not to give the Grauniad clicks)

Haha, whoops! Thanks for the link. I agree the Graun link isn’t ideal but tbh I find that if I boycotted every paper for one reason or another I’d never look at any of them! Grin They’re an utter disgrace on the sex/gender front though, that’s for sure.

Great news. Just saw this article on the Guardian. Hopefully part of a wider pushback towards academic freedom.

Amazed the Graun even printed that-anything remotely GC, or which shows TRA's as the horrible bullshit merchants they are gets binned.

The EDI committee was always going to vote for Stonewall because EDI committees tend to be targeted by and stuffed with TRAs.
