Can someone help me responses to pronouns

I read on here a really good response to be asked for pronouns that quoted the stonewall own policy back at them - that it was your right not to be forced to disclose your pronouns - I’ve had a hunt and found helpful replies but I can’t find the one that quotes the equality act or was it stonewall own policy or it might have been a law I can’t remember and I can’t find it!!

My teenager is constantly being asked to declare her pronouns and the group are constantly putting them back in every time she deletes them - the queen bee is demanding to know why she keeps deleting it and that quote would be so helpful (queen bee is a nightmare and although daughter stands up to her she is making life difficult for her’ but there was a wonderful post not too long ago saying …. Equality policy section x says I should not be pressured to disclose my gender etc ….. or words to that effect and I can’t find it for her - can anyone help or direct me to the thread?

I had hunted around and found great responses such as the one below ….. but I can’t find the one that quotes a policy etc … anyone able to help?

Ye gods, “queen bee” sounds like a narcissist psychopath whose bullying and manipulative behaviour needs to be reported. I know you’re not looking for friendship advice for your DD, OP, but I’d second the grey rock approach. Your DD sounds very sensible and it gives me hope when I hear about young people who don’t buy into all this shite - I hope she does go into law/politics as both professions desperately need people like her!

She is fighting this from within - queen joined their friendship group as a new student last year - and started straight away - it’s attention seeking of the worse kind. Dd doesn’t really engage and saw through her/ them very very quickly.

The other night they all met round at one of the girls houses - start time 6 pm end time 7.30 pm - they were all there on time except queen. Queen arrived at 7.15 pm and then demanded it be extended time wise the parents said no - queen cried and said it was her anxiety that had made her late etc - abd started a panic attack the parents had made it very clear that 7.30 was the end time. dd just texted and said I’m ready at 7.30 and so I picked her up. Meanwhile a host of parents were getting irate as queen was crying and they wanted to comfort her. So the parents see it and she’s alienating them all one by one. Dd says the more rope she has the more she can tie herself in knots. Dd is good at grey rock but as she says she wants to fight this articulately eg what JK said was ….. rather then argue with ‘you are hurting my feelings’ you are being anti trans or whatever - so every time queen calls one of the girls trans, lesbian or whatever as an insult or banter - dd is logging it. She’s fed up with it. The group was lovely before she arrived.

I remember an excellent newnight when Nigel farage appeared and everyone was aghast that he has air time but then he had the floor wipes with him as the mop and his arse handed to him on a platter and he came off as a total loon so air time did us all a real favour - someone was articulate enough to say ‘you are a twat’ but not in that form and it changed public opinion.

The gender pronoun and trans movement etc is across the year group. Dd has friends who are trans and she supports them but this girl is doing it more for being attention seeking. Difficult one to navigate but DD is addressing the way she feels is right.
