Kellie-Jay Keen was interviewed about pornography and having age verification to protect children from it: . She is on second after the pro-porn woman. I would mention that OnlyFans is like an MLM, the women who recruit others receive a percentage of her earnings.

The full programme is on . Peter Tatchell says he talks to children about porn and they tell him they aren't harmed by it around 1 hour 47 mins in.

Kellie-Jay is also going to be on GB News debating a TRA around 9:20pm tomorrow Sunday 19th December on Mark Dolan Tonight.

Why is Tatchell talking to children about porn?

Melroses · 18/12/2021 19:21

Goodness knows - it seems to be a subject he feels very qualified to pontificate on for some reason.

GoodieMoomin · 18/12/2021 19:29

I'm pretty sure that everything Tatchell knows about children, child development and safeguarding would fit on the back of a postage stamp.

Bille Eilish won't be the only one harmed by watching porn during childhood

Nana also did a good piece about modern slavery/colonialism and how it is ignored whilst condemning in the past.

GB News has some brilliant women who are our kind of feminists making programmes raising awareness about feminist issues.

Inaya Folarin Iman (founder of the Free Speech Champions) presents the Discussion at 6-7pm Saturdays. Today she interviewed Rachel Rosario-Sanchez about her experiences at Bristol University and about Rosie Kay being removed from her dance company .

Mercy Muroki presents To The Point every weekday morning 9:30am-12. Here she talks about workplaces enforcing wrong-sex pronouns .

Alex Phillips presents The Afternoon Agenda weekdays 4-6pm and We Need To Talk About . . . Saturday and Sunday at 3-4pm. Topics she has dedicated programmes to have included Safeguarding, Gender Identity, Misogyny, Revenge Porn and Violence Against Women.

Nana Akua is on Saturdays and Sundays 4-6pm. Here she talks about the importance of female-only spaces and supports Rosie Duffield and JK Rowlings comments. .

Free Speech Nation on Sunday at 7-9pm raises awareness in a funny way, it's not feminist-run though.

I record these programmes and I can fast forward adverts to the parts I'm interested in. Seeing what I have been talking about on the TV has really changed how my family views these issues. Like seeing presenters talking about men in women's sports while showing photographs of Mouncy, McKinnon, Hubbard. My dad was shocked at the misogyny when he heard Tatchell arguing for men to be included in women's rugby by saying he thinks female rugby players look manly. GB News aim for balance and the 'other side' interviews are just as eye-opening.

Why is Tatchell talking to children about porn?

The way Peter Tatchell phrases the child telling him she watched porn and says she wasn't harmed by it is very similar to how he talks about a boy called Lee who Tatchell claims told him he wasn't harmed by an adult man sexually abusing him when he was 12 www.petertatchell.net/lgbt_rights/age_of_consent/im-14-im-gay-i-want-a-boyfriend/. Kellie-Jay Keen talks about Tatchell describing talking to this boy from 13:32, she thinks reads like a fantasy he has made up . Or Tatchell could be genuinely regularly talking to kids about these topics.

Thanks for the thread.

It's really interesting to read the times piece by Janice Turner in response to the backlash that Billy got. She talks about a university lecturer who's students were recently completely captivated by the second wave feminism writings. I was also encouraged to read an RSE teacher's experiences with some 6th formers who debated porn and came to similar conclusions to Billy.

Along with the above types of reporting, I can see the current generation moving up to reject gender woo and also recognise women's rights more clearly, aligning with 4th wave, and taking the key aspects of inter-sectionalism that actually are important.

Online shit has been and is harmful; it's also useful for cutting through the shit.

We do need to teach source hierarchies, bias and critical thinking in school much earlier though.

Omicrone · 19/12/2021 08:56

I know, why is Peter Tatchell such an expert on kids and sex, and apparently has been for a long time? What are his credentials?

Omicrone · 19/12/2021 09:08

Woah just watched the Peter Tatchell bit. He says that porn is important for sex education otherwise young people won't know what to do? Reckons he was talking to a 15 year old girl 'just a couple of weeks ago' who told him that she watches porn because she didn't know what to do with her boyfriend and now, thanks to watching porn online, she now knows and can 'make him happy and he can make her happy'.

What the shit?! Why is no one reigning this bloke in?

I tell you what, if Peter Tatchell was sniffing around my kids school I would be in there giving both barrels.

Peter Tatchell says he talks to children about porn and they tell him they aren't harmed by it around 1 hour 47 mins in.

Like how in 1997 he said:

”Several of my friends - gay and straight, male and female - had sex with adults from the ages of nine to 13. None feel they were abused. All say it was their conscious choice and gave them great joy.”

Peter Tatchell makes my flesh crawl, talk about “in plain sight”.

Sashimimimi · 19/12/2021 10:40

There’s also this letter Tatchell wrote to the Independent newspaper in 1996 defending the marriage of a 13 year old child to an older man 🤢

Yep, or a Madam.

First of all, you can base your entire business on referrals. Just like with an MLM company, you can make the bulk of your OnlyFans profit not with your own sales, but with your “team”. Coaching a team, rather than producing your own content, is big business in the OnlyFans world. iliketodabble.com/is-onlyfans-an-mlm/(libfem article)

At first women were told they would get a proportion of their recruits' earnings forever, then it was reduced to a year, which caused a lot of anger. Some of the top 1% of earners recruit in a very predatory way, including signing up their friends' little sisters on their 18th birthdays. Recruits fly to Dubai, advertising a lifestyle, despite having very low subscriber numbers. Using personal social media accounts and real names was recommended. The supposed high earnings are a sales pitch.

I agree with Posie on everything and am so happy she has got involved in the porn debate.

I seem to disagree with Tatchell on everything and he makes my spidery senses go bonkers.

Poor girl, being brainwashed into thinking porn sex is the way real life boyfriend/girlfriend sex is, and should be.

It makes me sick to my stomach.

All the years until the 1970s/80s that women had no idea how to get sexual pleasure for themselves, then we had a couple of decades and now women are again being taught to do what pleases men, no matter how uncomfortable, painful or dangerous it might be.

Yeah this girl is learning to view herself through male eyes. She’s learning that what she’s “supposed” to do with her boyfriend is allow him to strangle and sodomise and slap her, that her pain and degradation is arousing to him. And that pleasing him IS all the pleasure she can expect to get from sex herself.
