Brilliant I thought, it’s really important to research how both sexism and ageism impact on women

However this survey on sexism doesn’t record sex so really WHAT IS THE FUCKING POINT????

Huh? So they ask if your 'gender' has changed from the one allegedly 'assigned' at birth, but don't ask what that gender (or of course, more accurately, sex) is?Confused

Yeah, it's a bit 'Boring old cis? Have a grey flag for your privilege!' Hmm

Artichokeleaves · 11/12/2021 13:30

Considering the ideology being supported there is both emphatically sexist and ageist ....

really why bother doing the survey with real people at all? It's another thing we can commission David Walliams to knock up when he's finished writing the Census.

To be fair - in the information sheet you have to tick that you are a woman in order to participate.

Theeyeballsinthesky · 11/12/2021 13:50

You do but a TW would say they are a woman so that renders that question pretty pointless 🤷🏻‍♀️

Why can’t they ask for sex & gender identity as 2 separate questions? As it stands they can’t tell which answers are from biological women and which from TW which I would thought would profoundly alter the answers. Comparing the different experiences would be interesting & useful but instead we have a fudged mess - it’s so frustrating
