The genderbread makes no sense. It says gender identity is your chemistry e.g. hormone levels? And that intersex is a mixture of male and female on a spectrum. Complete nonsense.

The coverage in the Mail and Mail on Sunday about the excesses of this ideology has been really thorough. Educate yourself they say - well that's what's happening!

This genderbread thing was discussed at my work recently, I wasn't part of the discussion. There were comments in the chat about how useful and interesting it was and how good it would be to make it more widely known Lots of she/hers and he/hims in my department.

One the highest rated comments under the article is “this really does take the biscuit!” 🤣👏

Mooscow, it's even more nonsensical than how you put it. Gender identity is "how you think about yourself in your head" (as opposed to thinking about myself in my spleen?) AND 'the chemistry that composes you (eg hormones)" AND "how you interpret what that means." I literally do not understand what this means. Also, it seems there is an internal contradiction in this definition. How you think about yourself in your end could be very different from your body chemistry and what you think about that. The two things seem to be entirely distinct phenomena. I literally have no clue what the chemistry that composes me is (no idea about my hormones) and I couldn't begin to interpret what that means, even if I did know. How on earth can anyone know their gender identity?

Oh well if it's chemistry I finally understand. I'm a carbon-based life form

The workshops claim that gender, attraction and sex sit on a spectrum of 0-100
Interesting theories out of East Coast American colleges which have no place in Education, Politics, Policy making and public life.

We're being conned. We don't live in a democracy, our public servants are on a path which is out of touch with the majority of voters and there seems to be no way to get them back to one of the tenants of being a Civil Servant which is impartiality. As we know, the trans/women's rights debate is now political. Who is going to stop these people? Our elected MP's don't seem to have the ability to make change e.g. Liz Truss and the Foreign Office signing up to continue with SW despite her views.

Its hilarious that people actually take any notice of this stuff when no one can answer questions, define their terms, and there's about a gazillion Contradictions that are never addressed

Spectrums ffs. What's transition then? What are people transitioning too or from?

What are all these multiple genders and how can there be non BI ( which means 2) nary when there's over 100 genders.

I do agree that sexual attraction is on a scale of 0-100 though. 100 being when you can't wait to rip someone's clothes off and 0 being when you can't wait to escape from some pronoun-touting, self-obsessed wanker.

It really worries me the people who run our country aren't questioning this absolute crap. None of it makes the slightest sense and it contradicts itself every five seconds, even as an ideology.

The genderbread person seems designed to misinform people with low IQs. Which is a really bad thing in itself.

But I expect better from civil servants than to just swallow this kind of crap.

But then I've always wanted to be at a wedding when the couple are asked if they know of any lawful impediment to their marriage & someone shouts 'stop! He's already married!' Happens all the time in films. Never at the weddings I've been at.

Still hopeful though.

As an adult, I can't imagine sitting in a room in a professional setting watching someone (who I know is being paid a not insignificant amount of public money) use this graphic to explain what 'sex' and 'gender' mean.

In a way, I'd have to admire them for their grift.

I came close to that when my train was held up then my taxi got stuck on traffic then the Council Reception denied that there was a wedding taking place in the Registry Office that day, so I was late finally arriving at the room.

I do not recall saying this but apparently, in that quiet space of anxious anticipation, I stood hidden in the doorway behind a sea of suits and wedding hats and the breathless, whispered words, "Oh Shit!" wafted over the silent crowd!
