Yeah fair dos @AlmostExtinct. He did have some very strange ideas and many very questionable lyrics. (Disclaimer - I’m still fond of Joe’s Garage though).

I don’t think FZ wrote Bobby Brown as a hero character. We’re supposed to hate him.

I’m no Zappa fan, but the words quoted are spoken by the character Bobby Brown - they are not intended to be what Zappa believes.

In fact, it’s about men like beardy lefties who claim to be “feminists” but really use their brand of liberalism to abuse women.
