The New Statesman magazine Journalist Sarah Manavis is on twitter to her 18k followers saying that the TRAs who doxxed JKR did nothing wrong. Retweeted by Owen Jones to his 1M followers. The magazine and the Guardian did not report on the story of TRA's doxing JKR.

Does anyone else remember how furious Jolyon Maugham was when Julia Hartley-Brewer posted a link to a newspaper article that showed where he lived?

Doxing is a form of cyber bullying that uses sensitive or secret information, statements, or records for the harassment, exposure, financial harm, or other exploitation of targeted individual s.

What they did was doxxing.

The location of a family home is always going to be sensitive information.
We should all feel safe in the home we live and sleep in. People will instinctively object to that form of personalised attack.
That is why so so many people tweeted statements saying they objected to her opinions but condemned the 3(4?) people's actions

People may be willing to risk their personal safety but very few would place their family in danger, what they did carried an implied threat against all in her household.

As you pointed out tweeting the image to be seen by their followers would result in likes, publicity and would probably to encourage others to harass her in the same way.

They took the picture down before she tweeted because many people pointed out that their behaviour was socially unacceptable.

I suspect that Sarah Manavis protected her account because the general public were explaining they objected to anybody turning up at a private residence.
I don't see any proportionate benefit of complaining to her employer when she's tweeted something which makes her look thick as can be.
Dont stop her when she is scoring an own goal.

'Julia tweeted a link to a newspaper interview he did about his home years before he became a politician.

This was after he had been hit with death threats.

Her tweet caused outrage, with many using the tragic murder of Jo Cox as an example of how dangerous her action was.

The presenter's pinned tweet on the matter reads: "I see the shy and retiring Jolyon Maugham is once again falsely claiming I published his home address to get the attention he desperately needs.

"I didn't. I mocked his pomposity in a tweet that linked to a newspaper interview he did boasting about his home."

She continued: "Other people had already tweeted this same link to him, which was easily available on Google after a cursory 30 second search, as was the interview he did with the BBC all about his home giving its precise address, along with the two magazine interviews, all available online."

"Oh, and Jolyon happily publicised my home address when he tweeted out the company accounts of prominent Brexiteer journalists earlier this year, forcing me to change my registered address for my family's security.
