What do you think happened to all those copies of "Trans" that we sponsored?

...because it seems that a lot of them have either not been read or just dismissed. Did Keir Starmer bother to open his copy? Were they intercepted by junior staff? Is there a cupboard full of them somewhere in the Houses of Parliament? Have the local charity shops been inundated?
Just wondering because so many MPs seem so ignorant on the subject :(

@Fariha31

It feels like they are stealing my voice, my ideas and words.

And it leaves me feeling voiceless, and raging but also weirded out in a really creepy way.

Sorry, this is a de-rail.

I agree that it’s a creepy, stalkerish phenomenon but the thing is, it’s so public that it makes them a laughing stock and it is counterproductive.

What MP, having taken the time to read “Trans”, is going to think, “Oh wonderful! Another book on the same subject! Never mind all the other things I have prioritised, I’ll get stuck unto this!” Hmm

Not an original idea in their heads, just copy-cats, and it makes them look sad and pathetic.

@334bu

When the house of cards comes tumbling down, they won't be able to say nobody told us.
I think this is most import thing about the whole book-sending campaign. We had Jess Philips claiming she did not know enough about Kathleen Stock to remember her name properly and that no constituent had ever contacted her on it. when the time comes to look this over a lot of people are going to say but we didn't know, or couldn't have known. And they could.
