Talking, not taking

I was listening. The gist of the bit I heard was that Jane Fae doesn't feel safe at the BBC. Everyone is hostile to trans people. Outrageous bbc article stating trans people are sexual predators based on a survey of 89 people and one of those 89 WAS A SEXUAL PREDATOR HERSELF AND HAS A TRANS HIT LIST.

I tried to listen but it started to irritate me that I couldn't always pick up who was talking because the voices of the guests kept changing tone/pitch.

Yes! India Willowby started off sounding fairly woman-like, but their voice quickly deepened.

They seemed (both of them) to be saying that they’re just women who want to live their lives, blah blah and and they can’t understand at all why anyone is scared of transwomen. Eh? Have they not heard of the death threats to J K Rowling? The ‘suck my lady dick’ abuse? It’s maddening!

Didn't manage to hear it, but just came across this Twitter thread, which gives the gist.

Jane f has for years been an activist against the extreme porn ban.

Thread from 2018

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/womens_rights/3374614-John-Ozimek-now-Jane-Fae-on-women-feminists-and-victims-of-pornographers?pg=6

And googling I found something I didn't know. Fae got soon be some of their wishes...

www.bbc.com/news/technology-47069414

'However, it also listed practices that others argued were not harmful among consenting adults, such as:

sadomasochism
torture with instruments
bondage
activities involving "perversion", such as urinating or defecating on to the body
Now, the CPS has removed all the specific examples from its guidance.

"It is not for the CPS to decide what is considered good taste or objectionable," it said in a statement.'

I missed this entirely. Torture with instruments. Filmed and distributed.

Fucks sake.

Anyway so that's Fae. Who feels scared at the BBC. But was happy to put loads of essays blogs info on the net arguing that extreme porn law was no good.

I mean no one's going to react negatively to that are they...

Scared at BBC.

Good god…that is awful. How was that allowed to happen?

I see India Willoughby recently compared to J K Rowling to Hitler. Lovely.

They were wanging on about androgen receptors and being ‘washed with oestrogen’ and we were all female for 6 weeks in the womb anyway…as if she had scientific knowledge that could back up the fact that she’s definitely a woman. I wish Robert Winston could have weighed in.
